HELP IS ON THE WAY! THE TEA PARTY IS HELPING ITS UK COUNTERPART!

Again citing ConservativeHome as a primary source, it appears that the British version of the Tea Party is growing exponentially and is getting help from Freedom Works, former Rep. Dick Armey’s tea party type organization.

The Guardian is reporting that the TaxPayers Alliance, a libertarian anti-tax euroskeptic political mass group, is getting logistical and strategic support from the Tea Party.  As Matthew Elliott, the TaxPayers Alliance head asserted:

“We need to learn from our European colleagues and the Tea Party movement in the US. It will be fascinating to see whether it will transfer to the UK. Will there be the same sort of uprising?”

The TaxPayers Alliance has about 55,000 members according to the Guardian.  It is seeking to bring tea party style politics to the UK.  It’s clear the UK needs it; the EU stranglehold combined with higher taxes and regulations is bringing down a proud nation.  The TPA has these ideals:

The TPA’s mission is:

•    To reverse the perception that big government is necessary and irreversible
•    To explain the benefits of a low tax economy
•    To give taxpayers a voice in the corridors of power

To this end, the TaxPayers’ Alliance will:

•    Oppose all tax rises
•    Oppose EU tax harmonisation
•    Criticise all examples of wasteful and unnecessary spending
•    Champion opportunities for votes on tax and spending

Here’s some sample articles:  One on the EU might require bank bailouts by taxpayers in individual nations.  (That’s enough for me – time to get out of the EU!)  Another on a scary anti-liberty concept the EU is investigating favorably – the Internet of Things.  The Internet of Things is sort of a Mark of the Beast for items instead of people.  (Of course the EU favors it!)   This one is the “non-job of the week”! (We have a few of those too in the colonies!)

I hope Freedom Works can get the masses in the United Kingdom stirred up.  Just remember that the tea party started small and worked to what it is today.  And the UK needs a Ron Paul.  But help is on the way.  Just remember that the first tea party seemed to fail – in 1773.  But what a great heritage it is.  The colonies are glad to be counted; like those who fought in 1940 for the RAF because it was clear England’s fight will be our fight, we’ll glad to help you fight big multinational  government.  Indeed fighting for liberty and sovereignty is our fight.
